>Well, the first review is in on Mirage. I’m thrilled to announce that it’s a Recommended Read at Two Lips Reviews.

The love scenes are emotion-filled and wonderfully erotic and Altair’s responses are enough to make your toes curl…her descriptions of the sight, sound and smell of Egypt transports the reader there, masterfully conveying the beauty of the culture and its people. I adored Mirage from beginning to end. (Read Review)

  1. >As long as you don’t expect perfection then cool. I strive for perfection, but I’m realistic in knowing that the only way to walk on water is to know where the stones are!! LOL

  2. >But I love to go back and start with an author’s first book and then read till I catch up to the most recent (if their back list isn’t too long) and see how they’ve grown in their creativity.

And I have to say that I have only put down one book that I haven’t picked back up since I have started to truly read. I don’t suspect perfection just a story that can take me away somewhere for a while and help me forget things for a small span of time (or hours LOL).

  3. >Mel, As always you’re a great cheerleader for me!! Thank you and big hugs.

Leeann, I’m thrilled that you loved Mirage. I always have mixed emotions about folks reading my backlist after they read one of my newer works. As I told someone else yesterday, I improve with each new work, and I don’t want folks to be disappointed by earlier works. It’s a conundrum for me! LOL

    Thanks! Monica

  4. >Monica Congrats on the Great reviews!

I finished Mirage last night and it was amazing! The way you describe things in detail made me feel like I was there and all I had to do was close my eyes and I could see it. I loved all of the characters especially Alex with her determination and vulnerabilities, she was truly inspiring. It was the first piece of your work that I’ve read and now I need to go through your back list because you are a great author. I’m envious of your gift and wish you much success in your career :o)
