>Miss Me?

>No? Well that’s okay, I missed you. LOL So why the long stretch between posts you ask? Hmmm, could it beeee WRITING! Yep, I’ve been writing like a speed demon. I’m almost done with the latest WIP. I meant to have it done this weekend, but life got in the way. You know how that is, the best laid plans…

Anyway, I’ve decided that writing MUST come first, and in fact, I’ve been really good about turning off the email while I write and only checking it periodically. Email can be so addicting, just like MySpace, reading other blogs, participating on other blogs, visiting your book on Amazon or Barnes and Noble to see your ranking. As if that really means anything! (eye rolling here). Playing with recipe software…umm, oops how did that get in there! Working on a new website, playing with the color format of one’s BB, watching movies and lying to yourself that watching an adventure movie is for inspiration, reading books by other authors….not a good idea when you’re working on your own book. It can breed crossover. YIKES!! So while I’ve been good, I’ve also fallen off the wagon quite a few times.

Are You On The List? (I’m On The List)

There you have it, a list of things you can do to avoid writing. However the fact of the matter is one must write in order to actually sell. I seem to have gotten back into the swing of it though. With the fact that I have almost a year off between print book releases, I’m trying to use that time wisely. I’ll be keeping touch with readers, but I’m also going to spend more time writing. I’ve already got my paranormal series semi-plotted out, and I’m eager to get going on it. Then there’s the follow-up books for the one I’m writing now. I’ve gone back to my roots again, so to speak, and I’ve developed another Sheikh. Shaheen is just as yummy as Altair (my hero in Mirage). So I believe you’ll find both of these guys are really hot alphas.

Now, I’m back off to more writing. I want this book done by this coming weekend. It’s going to be a real race, but I CAN DO IT! I’m a Nike gal…JUST DO IT!
